Im so happy!

Well its been a bit of a shit year…some good times, and alot of bad times too.

But the past week I’ve realised just how short life is, and have started enjoying it! Since the kids have been away, I’ve been able to sit down and relax (mummy friends will understand how difficult that is when kids are involved), and think abut the future. I have been able to catch up with friends, go to the movies, go shopping and sleep in.

I’m loving the single life, and the freedom i have. Its been a huge change and I’m LOVING life alot. I have new friends that i can now hang out and socialise with, something I’ve never really been able to do.

I have new single mummy friends too!

NYE will be spent with Kirsten and Shari…and their 2 boys. I’m excited and cant wait, will be an awesome night :)

I would like to wish all my gorgeous friends and family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and safe 2011.

Christmas this year is a little odd. Craig has taken my babies to his mums house, whilst i stay home….Alone. I plan to spend my day with Shari, a lady i met via BB who has a son and no family in Australia. Should be a good day.

Sunday I’m off to the movies with Christine :)

Well the time has come. Craig and i have both agreed things are not going to work and my happiness is a priority. We have now called it a day and gone our own ways. We are the very best are friends and always well be. It has been an amazing 5 years, we have been through so much, but we cant carry on.

He has found a lovely brand new rental in Pakenham, so only 10-15 mins away so still able to visit. Starting next year he will also have them stay 3 nights every 2nd weekend to give me a break.

Break time

Whilst i don’t usually post very personal things on my blog, this time i am going to. Mainly cos it affects me as a whole and something i will look back on in 6-12 months time and either say it was the right choice, or a very big mistake.

What I’m talking about is my marriage situation. Craig and I are currently separated. This came as a huge shock to both our friends and family. I wont post details, but i will say it was myself who asked for the break. I needed to be on my own (well add 3 kids and 3 cats into the mix).

So far so good. I’m handling it well. i have my days with the kids where i think its all to hard, but i plough on and get through the day and night. The kids are slowly adjusting to the change of not having daddy here (who is staying with Cheyne at the moment and seeking a rental). He comes to visit for family dinner night on a Wednesday, and sees them 1-2 times through the week in the day time if he is in the area or needs to drop round for something.

I have a lot to think about over the coming months, and i hope i can get the right choice made!

That’s all i wish to post about right now :)

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth countries to remember the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war, specifically since the First World War. This day, or alternative dates, are also recognised as special days for war remembrances in many non-Commonwealth countries.

Remembrance Day is observed on 11 November to recall the official end of World War I on that date in 1918, as the major hostilities of World War I were formally ended “at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month” of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice. (Note that “at the 11th hour”, refers to the passing of the 11th hour, or 11:00 am.)

The red poppy has become a familiar emblem of Remembrance Day due to the poem In Flanders Fields. These poppies bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their brilliant red colour an appropriate symbol for the blood spilt in the war.

Sadly yesterday one of my gorgeous friends found out devastating news. She was to be a bit over 10 weeks pregnant when bleeding began. Sunday night she went to the hospital where blood and an internal were done, returned great results. Yesterday she had a scan.

Its with much sadness that she was informed her baby had passed away 3 weeks ago.

Having been through Melanae’s loss, i knew exactly the pain (physically and emotionally), the heart ache and the ‘whys’ that would be running through her mind right now. I am there to support her, 2 states apart, but never more then a phone call or MSN chat away.

Deb, you’re a strong lady and im so sorry for your loss. May your precious angel forever look over you and your family forever. She is in the skies above playing with Melanae and all the other angel babies. RIP Ruby Rose you will always hold a special place in mummies heart.

Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers

Well last night Craig took me our for a post birthday night out. We hired Anita to watch the kids and around 7pm we left home. First stop was Crown Casino where we had dinner at Spice Temple. O M F G….the food was to die for. Was just soooooo yummy!! Of course $140 later we left. I was beginning to have really bad pains and wasn’t sure i was going to make it to our next fun venue. After a few trips the the loo and the feeling of wanting to spew, i was right again :)

So we got a taxi and headed to…. The Men’s Gallery !! Wow is all I’ll say. I didn’t think I’d be able to walk in, but I’m glad I did. Its an experience that’s for sure, and so much fun. The chicky babes were so HOT HOT HOT. I’d do anything for a body like them. Craig paid a gorgeous girl, Allegra, to do a little show for me. She was so pretty, but i had no idea where to look LOL :)

Around midnight we headed back to Crown, grabbed a coffee and some Krispy Kreme donuts and headed home!

Was the best night out in a long time..and a very nice birthday present off Craig!
