Next month we are heading off on a road trip up to Kandos to visit my family. Its going to be a very QUICK trip up and back, but least we’ll see my folks and Renee (and kids).

Im already dreading the drive…..3 small kids and a long car ride is never ever fun.

We are leaving on Friday morning and we will be back in Melbourne come Monday night…..told ya it was short. I wanted to go longer, but Craig is being a fuss pot and wont (or maybe its cant?) get more time off work cos of some project he is working on. Also cos we go away in August…

Id go alone, but in a deadly driver, i fall asleep way to fast, so it wouldn’t be safe for the kids or myself to take that option!

25 weeks…

Exactly how far i SHOULD have been along now with our little Raindrop. Reality still hasn’t set in that our little bundle wont be coming in October.

I hate reading about how well other pregnancies are going, i hate seeing pregnant women.

One of Chelsea’s teachers is pregnant….and due in October.

I know she is gone….but i don’t want to accept it still.

It really really sucks. I mean I’m happy for a few of my friends that are pregnant….but then there’s others that i wish were going through what i am…but no, they are carrying healthy, happy and ALIVE babies due the same month i would have been.

All i have to focus on is our cruise which leaves in 50 days….or 7 weeks 1 day

Australia now has a new…..PRIME MINISTER.

Julia Gillard has pushed Kevin Rudd out of his job because she ‘felt the government were going off track’….Hmmm OK

Julia is also our first female PM

So yes, now was have this red headed Ranga….god only knows if she will do any good. An election will be called for Oct / Nov this year and she will be up against Tony Abbott

Both are as useless as each other i reckon!

I don’t follow politics, never have and never will, bores me shit less!

Anyhow…this is what our new PM looks like:

My babies clothes that is :(

Craig and I have decided 3 babies is what we are happy with, therefore, im selling all my kids clothes that no longer fit.

I have kept a few small outfits, id have kept the lot if it was practical, but its not the case.

Today ive bundled up 4 parcels to go to new owners, it was hard. It was sad. I am full of emotions from doing such a simple task.

One day maybe there will be another and we can start fresh, but i dont see that happening.

I still have alot more for sale, but no one seems to want to buy…good or bad..not sure!

Science Works

On Saturday we all took a trip out to Science Works. Was a great day out and the kids had so much fun!

There are more pics on Facebook, but here is a couple

Happy Birthday Daddy (and Craig).

We hope you have a great day and dont work to hard :)

How on earth did i forget to post an update on the car scenario!!???

Well, as luck had it, last Sunday we hired a car and went car hunting (in the pouring rain mind you). Anyhow, we went over to Jefferson Ford in Mentone as they had a 2004 Ford Falcon BA XT (a car pretty much) in our price  range and acceptable kilometre range.

It was NICE….so, long story short, we bought it!!!

Lucky for us, the hire car had to be returned on Wednesday so Ford were able to deliver the car to us that afternoon.

Unlucky for us was the sales guy didn’t realise the heater hadn’t been fixed, so we had to take it back on Thursday. We now have a loan car until our newbie is back on the road…hopefully by late this coming week.

So anyhow, ive borrowed this pic off Car Sales where we originally found it. Once we get the car back ill take better pics :)

On Friday we had a treadmill delivered. We have only hired it for 4 weeks at the moment. I think we’ll extend the hire contract though.

Im loving it. First night i used it, i had speed of 3.5kpm for 15 mins. When i used it next i bumped it up to 4kph, incline of 2 and went for 20 mins.

Feeling really good using it. Hopefully it will help with the weight loss. So far ive lost 1.2kg. Whilst not alot, its a start all the same!

I have been doing a weight loss blog as well, but its not shared publically. Once ive lost all the kilos i need to, then i will share more journey…so yep…you will be waiting a LONG TIME!

Well today AAMI called us back with the final answer on our dearly beloved (erm….OK so we hated the car) bomb.

They decided it would not be a statutory write  off….but rather a repairable write off. So in blonde terms, they are going to fix it, and then it can be resold and will get a VIV number (similar to a VIN but it will appear on a write off record).

Good thing though, we still get our payout.

We had 2 options: Take the payout or get it repaired and keep it

Of course we chose the payout….we will be happy to part with the bomb.

The hunt for a new car continues…..SIGH :(
