As some know my body sucks..LOL

For the past 8 or so weeks ive had many visits to the dr to find out whats wrong with me. I had an ultrasound which revealed 1 of my ovaries had to many follicles but PCOS was ruled out. I was then sent for a round of bloods.

What came back surprised my doctor even. It turns out i have Hyperthyroidism.

In blonde terms, an overactive thyroid!

So anyhow, on 22nd June i have to go back for another round of bloods which will target just the thyroid. More then likely ill be then put on medication to treat it.

On the upside, my dr said that having this condition will help in my weight loss journey as it will help to burn fat faster 🙂

Today the kids were invited to Krystal’s 4th birthday party at Mill Park. Those that know me well, will know i freak when i have to leave my ‘safe area’ and venture out of town. So anyway, Mill Park is about 1 hour from here…other side of town.

Craig could not find the GPS and i freaked out. How the hell was i going to get from here to there without it? There was no way i was going to be able to drive AND read a damn map or directions from a bit of paper. I have a tanty and say ‘Oh well least the car insurance is up to date when some one plows up my arse cos I’m trying to see where I’m going’.

So after being a grizzly pot and swearing (and cursing alot), he agreed to come with me.

Driving along….we are going well. Until, Shit….we took the wrong turn, so we stop a little up the road. Next minute BANG…..holy fuck…some dick just ran up our arse. He was probably going about 40 km/h. Craig gets outs and starts talking to the dude. I see they are exchanging details, but i am shaking and fuming about this prick, so i get out of the car.

The guy doesn’t seem to care. Our poor bomb has taken a beating to the rear and the side (cos he tried to swerve and avoid us, but he still got the driver side). Craig starts banging on the side of the car to get the bumper back into place. The boot looks a bit suss.

I think i jinxed us with my comment this morning….dammit!

Guy drives off…not a scratch or damage what so ever. Luck was on his side cos he had a high car (like a utility beast sorta thing). We finally get back on the road and make our way to the party.

We get to Macca’s and i go to get the pram outta the boot…WONT OPEN….damn thing has been squished so much its compacted it.  No pram for Zachery.

The girls have a great time at the party, and by 130 or so are getting restless so we head off. Yep, we got lost and ended up in Doncaster. Finally at 3pm we make it home and the kids go to bed!!!!

So what does the car look like? Not as bad as one might think, but still bad enough.

Thats right, Master Zachery is walking…even though he loves to crawl sometimes too!

Chelsea now has her bike licence!!!!

Last week at school, as part of Education Week, the kids had to take their bikes into school. They learnt how to ride safely and about road safety.

She loved being able to take something in to school!

At last….our P&O Cruise to the Pacific Islands is BOOKED!!!!!!! We are going on the cruise called Pacific Escapade

We set sail on Saturday 14th August @4pm from Sydney. We are at sea for 2 days where we then arrive in Poum. We are there for the day before setting off to Isle of Pines (1 day) then on to Noumea for a day. When then start the journey back home again.

Arriving back in Sydney on Sunday 22nd August @7am.

Whilst we are going Kathy will be staying here to mind the children. Oh i cannot wait for our child free holiday, but i will miss my babies so so so so much!

Well tonight Chelsea’s school held a 1 hour parent class.

If gave us an opportunity to see what our kids actually do all day.

So what did WE do:

• Had story time
• Sung songs
• Painted, done drawings, played on the computers, musical instruments, water play and puzzles

We were shown how the children are disciplined (taken out of the group and spoken to, explanation of what they were doing wrong and how it makes the teacher feel using emotion words), one on one communication time and group activities

I thoroughly enjoyed the night and gave me a better understanding of why Chelsea loves going to school so much 🙂

Also, i loved how i spent the night with Chelsea’s teaching. It was good that i could speak to her about how Chelsea is going, and she was able to give me some feedback on her as well.

Well today is my Nephew’s 9th Birthday. I cannot believe its been 9 years since Brendan was born, my gosh its gone fast!!
